Not too big, but holds a lot, a shoulder bag that fits snugly under your arm, lots of pockets on the inside, and it opens wide, but stays closed with clever magnetic tabs. It's so much fun to make in a great piece of vintage upholestry fabric, a drapery-weight toile fabric or a remnant from your favorite garment. Carry it as a handbag, put your regular purse inside it, or carry your laptop, baby supplies or beach toys in it.
