How Do You Wear the Quincy?

We received such positive feedback with the How Do You Wear the Tosca Dress, we decided to do it again with our latest love, Quincy Top & Pants.

Enjoy!

Linda, Kathy & Erin each have their own unique style. We decided put together a few looks to introduce our latest pattern, the Quincy Top & Pants. Three different people, wearing the same pattern in completely different ways.

LINDA

I can't  seem to have enough white shirts, so it was a natural to make my first Quincy Top in White Cotton Shirting and featuring a Black 18" Zipper. After testing the pattern with a group of wonderful women at the Cloth Merchants in Tulsa, I saw the possibilities of using a myriad of fabrics for this jacket. Plus it fit so many body types, that I knew it was going to be a winner. I like taking the same pattern and using fabrics that take the garment from casual to dressy, so my next one is in a Jacquard Stripe in bold colors. While I am a "one-layer" gal these days, I love the way it can also be layered with a t-shirt or tank and worn as a jacket.

Also featuring our new zippers: Nylon 18" Zipper-Brass (Shirt-Weight), Nylon 18" Zipper-Black (Jacket-Weight)

KATHY

I also love the versatility of this pattern.   The top looks great in a shirt weight fabric all the way up to a felled wool, worn as a single layer or that can't-live-without jacket.  The collar worn up and high is always a delight for me, but it can be turned down also.  I am going to try this in a medium-weight knit next, maybe a wonderful French Terry. And of course we happen to have French Terry in 4 great colors: Pewter, Black, Natural and Juniper.

ERIN

I love the Quincy, but I'm more into mixing & matching pieces.  So I decided to wear the top & pants separately in 2 out of 3 outfits. I also love jackets, but rarely zip or button up the front. I just want to throw it on and run out the door. The Quincy Pants are perfect this time of year.  I love this lightweight cotton pair, hem rolled up with a simple tank & vest. Layering is still possible in the summer heat with a tank & vest.
