The La Fonda Jacket Pattern

The La Fonda Jacket is available as a PDF pattern.  

The La Fonda is a semi-fitted, hip-length jacket with set-in, two-piece lantern sleeve. It features a button front with wide double placket with bartacks, collar and stand, front patch pockets, two-piece back with rounded hem and a drawstring. The pattern includes two collar options: round or straight. There is contrast bias trim throughout.

Recommended Fabrics: Lightweight to medium-weight Cotton, Linen, Rayon, Silk, Polyester, Knit, Suede/Leather

This La Fonda is made in a solid cotton poplin, with a contrasting cotton bias trim. 

This is a medium-weight wool blend with five contrasting fabrics pieced together for the bias trim.  

This La Fonda is made of lightweight cotton lawn with a contrasting cotton lawn under collar and silk striped bias trim. 

This La Fonda is made of a jacket-weight textured cotton, with a fun Liberty London under collar and berry-colored bias trim. 

This La Fonda is made from a medium weight cotton/linen blend.

This La Fonda Jacket is made in black linen with contrasting black and white bias trim. It features a straight sleeve variation. To make the straight sleeve, you can either adjust the sleeve pattern, or use the Berwick St. Tunic or Lakewood Shirt sleeve patterns.
