What our members have said through the years:

"I loved many things [about Sew Confident!]. The anticipation of each new project and the many options for each that have been presented. The videos!! The beautiful fabrics and the great discount that we can use for the fabric. The Facebook group with all of the pictures as garments were finished and photographed. The way patterns were changed and “hacked” and the creativity it has encouraged. I have really enjoyed this Sew Confident." - Karen Driessen

"The videos are my favorite. Linda has lots of tips that help me to make my sewing look so much better." - Debra Rizzo Brady

"I’ve enjoyed the wealth of creative ideas that come regularly from Linda and colleagues at TSW. I have also enjoyed being a part of a community of sewists who share their projects so generously. The videos are excellent resources. I get many ideas from weekly FB live videos too. Mostly I like the inspiration to sew I feel after connecting with FB videos and from the Sew Confident monthly projects." - Susan Wolnik

Meet Your Instructor

LindaLee headshot2019Linda Lee

Linda’s training and experience as an interior designer have come in handy as she teaches the art of combining beautiful fabrics for the fashion–conscious home sewer. Along with teaching fitting skills and fine sewing techniques, she is known for designing patterns under the name of The Sewing Workshop, a line of patterns for the modern sewer who is interested in architecturally interesting styles to flatter with flare.

Along with talented staff members, she operates out of her pattern-making studio in Topeka, Kansas, where you will find a huge inventory of fabrics that are sold online. She produces her monthly series of inspirational tutorials, loves to travel, and hosts a killer Facebook Live on Tuesday afternoons.

With ten Craftsy classes and 13 books under her belt, Linda has the depth of experience and enthusiasm needed to pass on the fine art of sewing clothes to her students.

Linda loves cats, fashion labels Marni and Akris, Roger Federer, vintage hand stitching, Fillmore Street in San Francisco, and cashews.
