Say hello to the Riviera Shirt in a totally new form! In this class, we are using View A of the Riviera Shirt pattern and transforming this loose-fitting, asymmetric shirt into a slightly updated version that features a shorter design with a new button closure option, a stand up collar and a two-piece back. A highlight of this project is the fabric featured in this kit, which is block printed by hand in India. It is 100% lightweight black and white cotton and each cut features four motifs on four different panels which creates this truly striking shirt.

Techniques you will learn in the video workshop:

• How to use pressing template
• How to miter symmetric and asymmetric corners

• How to apply a button placket

• How to install a foldover collar

• How to install sleeves using the flat method
