Say hello to the Now Jacket! In this class, we are using the Now Shirt pattern and transforming it into a jacket. The Now Jacket takes the original Now Shirt, and adjusts the pattern to give this garment an entirely new look. The collar is reduced in size, open pockets have been added, the sleeve has a wonderful sleeve patch and there is lots of topstitching to give this jacket a finished look.

Techniques you will learn in the video workshop:

• How to alter the Now Shirt pattern to make a jacket
• How to work with feather wale corduroy
• How to construct a two-opening pocket
• How to add a sleeve patch with a vent opening and cuff
• How to set in a sleeve
• How to achieve perfect topstitching
