L2 Bag: Vicky embroidered the emblem to match her faux suede for a truly custom bag. She loves the size of the bag and how it tucks right under the arm when worn on the shoulder.
L2 Bag: Thanks to Dixie (Clinton, MA) for showing us her bag!
"I loved printing the fabric (fabric was hand painted with stencils) and the bag was so much fun to sew!"

I love this Paul Smith L2 Bag. The outer fabric is a Paul Smith stripe, with charcoal grey Ultrasuede used for the gussets. Ultrasuede makes the gusset insertion super easy!
Two great L2 Bags, created by Sue Vite. Here's what she had to say: "For both bags I used Heather Bailey fabric from Free spirit. I love this purse, the size, shape, handles. On 1 bag I used leather for the handles and the "V" inserts. I obtained the leather from some "recycled" pants I found at a second hand store. The first bag I didn't put the plastic on the bottom and the second one I did. I like it much better with the plastic bottom. Thank you for the wonderful pattern!" Can't wait to make one yourself?

Paula McPhee made this wonderful L2 Bag. Here's what she had to say about the experience: "The main fabric is an upholstery-weight piece that I think I got in LA. The gussets are from an old vest that I could no longer wear, so this was a way to salvage a little of the fabric. The handles are black suede with prepunched holes on the end tabs to use as guidelines to sew them onto the bag. Instead of sewing the tabbed ends flat, I folded the tabs in half vertically and stitched them along the edge of the fabric. The embellishment sewn to one end of the handle is a wonderful leather flower."
L2 Bag created using Anna Maria Horner cottons appliqued down the center, also for godets and lining.
This is a great shot of the L2Bag, showing how perfect the size is for everyone. It's large enough to carry all your essentials and fits right under the arm for a comfortable fit.
Thank you to Kathy for created this plush L2 Bag using upholstery cotton velveteen with a rich paisley motif.

This fun L2Bag was created by customer, Marcia Murphy. The fabric is hand-dyed cotton canvas that was then discharged with a Clorox bleach pen. Can't wait to make one yourself?
Heavyweight upholstery fabric is perfect for the L2 Bag. In fact, that's what we recommend using, because it gives the bag shape and stability. Shown here in a deep blue wool with green circles. Green Ultrasuede handles to finish. Can't wait to make one yourself?
Created from vintage upholestry fabric....this L2 Bag is so fun in a soft wool with green Ultrasuede handles. Can't wait to make one yourself?
