Join Nancy Shriber and The Sewing Workshop Team in the delightful town of Eureka Springs, Arkansas. In this workshop, you'll spend three days embellishing a finished garment you've made using Nancy's signature hand embellishing techniques. The stitching will take place in Linda's home near downtown Eureka Springs, Arkansas, with accomodations next door to the home at Cliff Cottage Inn.
During this immersive, slow stitching workshop, you will bring your own finished garment. Nancy specializes in sashiko and has an inspiring way of helping her students transform their garments or fabric into unique pieces of art. Nancy will walk you through the process of enhancing your garment, helping you to personalize your design. The workshop will take place in a colorful, spacious home around a long dining room table where you will sit, stitch and relax with friends. This is an exclusive experience with only a select number of spots available. The day will include lessons with Nancy involving various stitching techniques and a lunch break, followed by more time around the stitching table. In the early afternoons & evenings, students are free & encouraged to enjoy the local attractions and restaurants of Eureka Springs, Arkansas.

What you will experience in the workshop:
- How to embellish your finished garment using contemporary sashiko techniques
- The art of relaxed, slow stitching
- Nancy's preferred needles & threads
- How to determine a design, either by using stencils or other alternative methods
- Several different hand embroidery stitches; primarily running stitch and french knots

It necessary to get transportation from the airport to the venue either by renting a car or securing a car service, Uber or Taxi. Getting around Eureka Springs is easy, as many things are walkable and parking can be tricky. Parking is available at the Cliff Cottage Inn and there are limited parking spaces at 32 Armstrong St.
