Sew Kansas July 2016 Round 2
Another week, another great workshop!
Sew Kansas Round 2 is complete and so are several new garments. Our guests shared their projects, got lessons on pattern alterations and how to move from inspiration to ensembles, shopped, and even had some time left to sew.
Jan is working on a beautiful Liberty Shirt. Stay tuned for a post on her final look!
Carol is wearing a green Eureka Top and working on another green garment. What a fun color! Have you made anything from our English Boucle? It's a wonderful fabric to work with. You can leave the edges raw and they won't unravel - instead they look very clean cut.
Karen worked hard to perfect the fit of the eTee and now she has a fantastic Cubist Faces Knit Print version to wear. This playful fabric is back in stock now! It pairs perfectly with this Bamboo Stripe for the neckband.
Samantha wanted a summer dress and she put together a high fashion look Tosca Dress with mixed prints. The main material is called Wild French Garden Print and the accent pockets are out of Italian Orchard Cotton Weave. The two are an unexpected pairing and they look fantastic together.
Our workshops fill very quickly. If you are interested in upcoming workshops and seminars, visit our Events page or talk to your sewing friends about coming to visit and then contact us!
