Fiber artist and quilt designer Kim Eichler-Messmer brings Japanese traditions into the modern age with Shibori Dye. “Shibori” is the Japanese word for different methods of creating patterns on cloth by shaping and securing fabric before dyeing it in indigo. This collection is the best of both worlds – traditional dyeing techniques paired with modern fabric printing!

This medium-weight cotton features a rich terra cotta and off-white design. It has a soft hand, with a satin-like finish. It is suitable for shirts like the Cottage or Trio Shirts but would also look wonderful as pants, skirts, or a dress.
