Printing a Copy Shop PDF Pattern

Our digital pattern and tutorial files are formatted as PDFs. Use Adobe Reader or Adobe Acrobat to open and print the file. If you don’t already have it, you can download the updated version here. http://get.adobe.com/reader/

All patterns are full-scale with all sizes included. Each download pattern includes two PDF copy shop pattern files, one is for U.S. copy shops, and the other is A0 size for international printing. The files will include either "U.S. Copy Shop" or "A0 international" in their titles. 

Our copy shop PDF patterns include the full pattern, which will be printed full size with no assembly required. The patterns can be printed at any local printer that has either a 36" wide printer (in the U.S.) or an A0 printer (international). In the U.S., businesses like Kinkos or Office Depot have this size printer.

Sewing Workshop Printing Service

Introducing in-house digital pattern printing with The Sewing Workshop!

Great news! Now you can print your Sewing Workshop digital patterns directly from the Sewing Workshop office. This is a great option for our digital patterns that you would prefer not to print at home or outsource to an alternate service.

When you are ordering a PDF pattern, you will see a section to the right called Printing Options. Here, you can choose to add the printed pattern. Below, you can see the Charlie Bomber PDF product, with the arrow pointing out the Printing Options. Please note: If the pattern is also available in printed form, it does not have the "add print" option. It will have a link to the printed pattern in the description.

PDFPlotting.com

Step 1. Go to the Black & White Pattern printing page at PDFplotting.com here. Look for the blue button that says Select PDF Document. Click on that button.

Step 2. When you click the blue button, a window will open so you can find and choose your Copy Shop pattern. When you have clicked on the pattern, click Open, at the bottom of the window. Please note, this screenshot was taken on a Mac computer, using the Chrome internet browser. Your window may not look the same.

Step 3. After you have clicked open, the pattern will begin to upload. Look for the blue line that says the document is processing. 

Step 4. When the pattern is uploaded, the screen will show the pattern title – confirm that you have uploaded the correct file. Then, choose the number of copies you would like and click Add To Cart.

Step 5. Once you have clicked Add To Cart, you can checkout as you would on any other website. Please note, PDFPlotting.com has a $10 minimum order. You can either add more patterns to your print order, or they will charge a surcharge.

Sublime Grafx

Step 1. Go to the Black & White Pattern printing page at SublimeGrafx.com here. 

Step 2. Scroll down to the bottom of the page. There, you will find the option for the type of paper you want the pattern printed on. We normally choose tissue.

Step 3. After you have chosen your paper, click the green button to upload the pattern file.

Step 5. When you click the green button,  a window will open so you can find and choose your Copy Shop pattern. When you have clicked on the pattern, click Open, at the bottom of the window. Please note, this screenshot was taken on a Mac computer, using the Chrome internet browser. Your window may not look the same.

Step 6. When the document is uploaded, you will see an eye symbol under the green box. Click Add to Cart.

Step 7. When you checkout, be sure to confirm that you have uploaded the correct file. Then checkout as you would on any other site. 

Note: the page where you upload your pattern files shows the shipping price breaks for printing and shipping multiple patterns, so you might want to print more than one pattern at a time.
