The Sewing Workshop at Chateau Dumas

Join at the beautiful Chateau Dumas in Auty, France for a personalized sewing experience. In this workshop, you'll dive into a set of skills centering around the art of modern garment sewing with an artistic edge. Work intimately with two nationally-known instructors, Linda Lee of The Sewing Workshop and Nancy Shriber, founder of Contemporary Sashiko.

Dyeing with paint! What a fantastic concept – no fuss, no mess, and exquisite results. In this workshop, you will dye your choice of fabric using Nancy’s signature technique. Choose silk, rayon, linen, or cotton for dyeing in unlimited color choices to make a pair of pants or a top or shirt. Personalize your fabric with stenciling and writing. Then make the coordinating pieces for a unique ensemble while honing your sewing skills with Linda, all while enjoying breathtaking views of the French countryside.
