Fitting the Bust
What people have to say about the Fashion Fitting Encyclopedia
Fit can be an intimidating subject, especially for new sewers. I think the simplicity of your book is brilliant. As a new sewer, the fact that patterns don’t magically fit every body type is something my daughter-in-law had not thought about. She sees the picture on the pattern envelope and assumes that the garment will look like that on her. She is proportioned so that most of the time fit won’t be an issue for her but now she will have something to refer to when she needs it. I have tried other fit books but they are way more complex that she needs. So, thank you for writing and publishing this. Definitely fits a gap in other publications. Kudos to the illustrator too.My best,C.G.
