A Tremont for the Stars and Stripes
Enjoy celebrating the 4th of July this weekend!
This starry Tremont Jacket was an easy make. The fabric is stable but has enough drape for the pattern. I used a vintage button from my collection for the closure. I can wear this look to the office, out to dinner, and I'm kind of wishing I would have worn it to film my last Craftsy class! I'm wearing a MixIt Tank under the jacket and the cropped version of the Valencia Pants.
I tested the fabric by pre-washing a swatch. The good news was that the metallic paint stayed intact. However, I felt the washed swatch was too limp for the look I wanted so I used fabric straight from the bolt and I will dry clean as needed.
